The Most Epic Trip Ever ~ Chapter 4: I'm Apparently Crazy

Greetings! Cari here. Can't believe it's been a month since I turned 17. I feel old XD. It's time for another chapter of TMETE (The Most Epic Trip Ever). So now, I present to you Chapter 4: I'm Apparently Crazy.

A few days later, I’d just about forgotten the misinterpretation that had led to my greatest discovery ever. But I kept on pondering over what had happened that fateful day. I decided it was high time to stop trying to shove my memory out of my head and accept it.

Well, rather than ignoring that the Lost Cities exist, I’m going to talk to my friends and plan an expedition!

I wondered what my friends would think. I knew that Erm, Nora, and Elyna would totally be on board with my plan, but I wasn’t so sure about Bella and Catiana. Especially Catiana. Cat was only ten! And the rest of us were teenagers. That would result in an interesting trip, to say the least.

All the girls had been thrilled when they’d received the news that the Lost Cities actually existed. I’d talked for hours with Nora and Elyna about all possibilities. Most of them were rather silly. But I’d never discussed those with my other friends. Now was the time to do so.

“Guys, I’ve got a very special announcement,” I typed in the KotLC group chat, which contained all my friends. “I wanna plan a fangirling expedition to the Lost Cities!”

I knew my friends would think I was either joking or crazy, but it’d be worth the shot. I waited breathlessly for their response.

Soon enough, the responses began flooding in.

“Okay Rebecca, you’re officially crazy,” Bella typed.

“ARE YOU KIDDIN’ ME?!” Erm replied. “LET’S GOOOOOOOO!”

“Who’s driving?” Bella shot back.

“I’ll do it,” Elyna offered.

“I mean, she is old enough to drive. She’s seventeen and already has a license.” Nora, Elyna’s thirteen-year-old younger sister, pointed out.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, back the T. Rex up! We’re doing WHAT?!” Catiana asked.

“A fangirling expedition to the Lost Cities, Cat,” I explained.

“So, um, what do y’all think? Am I completely nuts? Or should we totally do it?” I nervously wrote.

The responses were nearly all the same. I was apparently bonkers.

Not much of a cliffhanger, eh? I'm sorry. I'll have to eventually post Worlds Collide (if only it weren't set after Unlocked). I'll just stick a spoiler warning, and we'll be good.
