Rules for Writing the Mean Girl

Okay, as I wrote this, I laughed because I myself am like some of these things, and yet I’m not a mean girl. But these are stereotypes, so yeah.

Rules for Writing the Mean Girl by Erin Hylands

***

Five Steps for Being the Stereotypical Mean Girl

  1. Be rude and uncouth. You pick on the new girl for no reason and every reason.

  2. Be in a clicque. You are very picky on who gets in, and it’s always who you like or think would make a good fit, but you’re still not very nice to her.

  3. Chew bubblegum. I cannot stress this enough. That way, you can pop your gum when someone asks you a question you don’t want to answer.

  4. Have nice, long, beautiful hair, preferably blonde, but you can be a brunette. Do not have red hair or glasses or braces. Then, you’d be deemed ‘geeky’ or ‘weird.’ And you can’t have that!

  5. Perfect flipping said hair. Be sassy and flip your hair whenever someone annoys you. That’s a proven fact. You just have to. (For whatever reason, even though I am not a mean girl though I can be mean I have perfected the hair flip.)

Now, learn from this and don’t be that mean girl!

I bet you’re wondering which ones I am? I have perfected the hair flip! *flips hair ceremoniously* I even have made my dad laugh when I use it.
