Rules for Writing the Average Female

This is a build-on to the post Leah did two weeks ago on the not-normal girl. Only this one is the normal girl. I present to you…

Rules for Writing the Average Female by Skylar Rivers

I DO ANOTHER!! MWahaha

CWs: Passing out

Average Female (spin off of Leah N. Bix's Not-Like-Other-Girls Main Character Rules.)

  1. You love pretty things! Cute things are your thing.

  2. You also ADORE ADORABLE THINGS!! Whether it’s kawaii, babies or a pile of kittens, you must fawn over it.

  3. You’re into creative arts. You may choose from: being a theater girl, practicing multiple musical instruments, drawing, etc. The sky is not even the limit!

  4. You’re delicate, both physically and emotionally. Got a cut? Well, now you must freak out and *possibly* pass out. Someone bullies you? Well, dwell on that.

  5. You must have a favorite color, preferably pink, pastel, purple, blue, along with other similar colors.

Skylar Rivers has been reading ever since she was two and began writing stories when she was six. While she does enjoy the time spent hanging out with friends, she is quite introverted, as well as being an organized daily task vanquisher. She loves both reading and writing fantasy, although she has yet to write a novel. Her favorite fantasy books are Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger and Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin, while her favorite shows are Mako Mermaids, Ninjago and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. She hopes to one day get published.

I realized I apparently fall under this category. Why?

  1. I love pretty, cute things—especially swimsuits that have a cute top and shorts or skirt.

  2. I LOVE BABIES

  3. I crochet a lot! And write. That’s creative.

  4. I’m short and not as strong as my brother, and apparently Subway hurts me emotionally to work there.

  5. My favorite colors are yellow, blue, and purple.

Do you fall under this category? If so, why? Comment below!
