I have for you today stereotype rules for the common Christian movie! I, for one, love Christian movies if they’re done well. A lot of times they feel a little bland, but I have found many that I love! I present to you…
Rules for Classic Christian Movies by Meredith F.

5 Essentials of a Classic Christian Movie:
(Okay, before I start this one, I’d like to make a disclaimer and say that I love Christian movies…when they’re done well)
Story must revolve around dying church and struggling pastor.
Said pastor must do something drastic that causes church elders to threaten him or kick him out of the church.
Story must include someone having a “come to Jesus” moment in an empty sanctuary at night during a rainstorm.
Central theme must include WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?)
Story must include at least three scenes of pastor preaching. The first one makes the congregation sleep. The second one makes half the congregation leave. The third one makes the congregation cry. Bonus! At least one person’s daughter must be the common sassy, phone-addicted teenager.

Of course there needs to be a ‘come to Jesus’ moment! Isn’t that what the Christian movie is about?

LOL for real... I can think of way too many examples. I haven't watched a ton of Christian movies (we don't watch many in general), but Courageous was really good!
And sorry... I accidentally hit guest... I'm Hannah Ruth! I'm glad I found your blog! You can check mine out over at https://faithfictionandfairytales.wordpress.com/ :)
