Rules for Being the Sassy Male Main Character

Greetings, everyone! Cari here. As Erin mentioned, our writers' community has been having a heyday with coming up with the rules for stereotypes in writing. So, without further ado, I present my contribution: the sassy male main character.

1. You must be SASSY!!! It’s in the name, for crying aloud!

2. You must be ridiculously handsome.

3. You must have a train of fangirls wanting to marry you even though you already have a Love Interest.

4. You must suffer through immense amounts of trauma and be broken on the inside.

5. You must be a total idiot.

Does this ring a bell? I can list at least four fictional guys who fit this stereotype.

(not exactly a Keefe sass moment, but it's true)
