Hi everyone! It's Charity, back from an extended break from TFOP! How's your summer been? Any cool plans? My summer's been great but busy! I've been acting in a community theater production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. We just finished up tech week and our first week of shows. This week, starting tomorrow, the hecticness returns. On Wednesday we have a tech rehearsal and on Thursday through Saturday four shows.
In more personal news, I finished up my sophomore year, and Erin graduated high school! (Tell her congrats in the comments, please!)
Anyway, I'm here with a cover reveal for a fellow teen author (and blogger), Miss Bree Pembrook! Bree has written her very first book, Ichabod Fly and the Great Newspaper Roundup!
Check out the cover!
Blurb: What happens when you spend too long in a bathtub? Nothing good. When
Prince Chow Ming III is caught wrinkly-handed in his bathrobe by a
nosy reporter after too lengthy a soak, it’s up to him to save his
name and dignity… or what’s left of it. With the help of loyal
assistants Mr. Grayson, Professor Cardamom, and Rutabaga HippHopp, the
prince sets out on an epic quest to rid the country of the humiliating
newspapers. Will he succeed? Or will he be doomed to have a muddied—or
wrinkled—name forever?
About the author: Bree Pembrook is a crazy, teenage, Christian author with
too many works-in-progress and not enough time. When she isn't banging
her head against her desk in an effort to get her characters to talk
to her, you can find her reading, hanging out with friends, listening
to music, and hoarding chocolate, as she is not only a book stockpiler
but a chocolate dragon as well. She can also be found in her unnatural
habitat on her sometimes-neglected blog,
Charity out!
Oh wow, during Crazy Writing Week I happened to come across Bree's profile, and we started chatting, and she told me about this story!
Love it! Thanks for helping out! -Bree
